**About Us**  

Computing and Programming Academy (CAPA) is a passionate non-profit organisation that empowers communities through life-changing skill development. CAPA started as a coding academy and has since expanded to offer tuition in Computer Science, English, Maths, Coding, Computing Skills, and Science. We aim to educate people to help enhance their lifestyles and career opportunities.

We also offer English and Computing Skills courses for adults to help break down language barriers, reduce the digital divide, support pathways into employment, and address social isolation and loneliness. These programmes are especially important for adults from migrant and low-income backgrounds, who may otherwise be excluded from essential services and opportunities.

At CAPA, we believe in continuing to benefit our communities by reinvesting our funds to provide more services. After serving the community with their education needs, CAPA recognised that many of the people we support also face serious challenges with housing and benefits. Some members of our community experience homelessness, housing instability, or difficulties navigating the welfare system. In response, CAPA introduced a housing and benefits support service to help individuals access the help they need—so they can live more secure, stable, and fulfilling lives alongside their educational progress.
